Farm It Forward backyard market gardens connect Blue Mountains residents through organic food. An organic farming program turning residential backyards into market gardens is tackling food security, food mileage and social isolation all at once. Manu Prigioni started the Farm It Forward program to link up residential property owners, who have land to spare, with aspiring food growers. The idea grew from a desire to connect with others throughout her community in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales.
